The duration of the military undergraduate study programs is eight semesters. Upon their completion, students will earn 240 ECTS credits.
Upon completion of Military Engineering study program, students are awarded an academic title of Bachelor of Military Engineering and the rank of Second Lieutenant of one of the following branches: armor, infantry, artillery, engineers, signals, CBRN defense, air defense, monitoring and guidance or technical services. Junior Second Lieutenants will be assigned as platoon leaders.
Upon completion of Military Leadership and Management study program students are awarded an academic title of Bachelor of Military Leadership and Management and the rank of Second Lieutenant of one of the following branches: infantry, Military Police and military intelligence.
As part of their professional development, officers are given the opportunity to continue their education and attend various specialist training courses at home and abroad necessary to meet the requirements for promotion to higher rank or higher-level commanding officer duty. They can enroll in graduate studies according to the inter-service Command and Staff School program earning 60 ECTS credits or according to one of the graduate university programs that is closely related to their undergraduate field of study.
Upon completion of graduate studies, officers can pursue postgraduate specialist studies at the War College – that being the highest level of officer education – or can enroll in one of interdisciplinary postgraduate (doctoral) university study programs.
